Curbside Care during the Pandemic
Due to the evolving situation, Premier – Grayslake is taking precautionary measures to keep hospital staff, patients, and pet owners safe while continuing to provide quality patient care. Owners will no longer be allowed to accompany their pets into the hospital as a measure to limit the spread of coronavirus until further notice. This includes check in, visitations, and check out. Exceptions may be made in extreme situations, but please call our client care staff first.
We have implemented curbside concierge services to assist with patient care out of an abundance of caution for our team and your family. Owners may be asked additional questions to help our medical staff provide the best care. Clients may experience longer wait times due to these more time-consuming protocols and due to the increase in patients we are experiencing. Please know that our medical teams are working as efficiently as possible, while spending the time needed to appropriately treat your pet. A member of our client care or medical team will call you with updates.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we do our best to provide medical care to your pet.
Hospital procedures, curb-side service, medication refills, and more are outlined here.
What to Expect
When you arrive at our hospital, please call our hospital. A member of our team will ask you several questions about your pet’s condition. They will explain next steps, wait times, and more.
When it is time for your pet to be seen by a member of our team, we will retrieve your pet. Once your pet is in the hospital, the doctor or technician will update you on their condition and the recommended care plan.
